Idle issues, Car dies when I stop.
Hi, I have a 1986 Camaro 2.8 litre V6. Recently purchased for 700$ on March 15th. Had no existing problems since I have been driving it for about a month. Couple of days ago was driving my car and it just died on my out of no where, has happened 2 more times since the last time. When i am idle I can hear the car struggling to stay running but just gives in. Any advice on my situation would be greatly appreciated.

The egr valve might be staying open at idle, which it shouldn't. The valve might be sticky or getting vacuum because of a bad egr solenoid.
The idle air control motor might be bad or dirty. I'd remove the whole throttle body & clean all the passages. Try to get a gasket set first.
