Re: "CHUMP CHANGE BUILD" 350 $1500 BUDGET

future plans are as follows.....
$400 for 15 yards of red on black Gucci cloth fabric should be enough for the interior((interior on hold til the car is running right)
$170 for hooker 2460 shorty headers....muffler shop charging $300 to button it up with dual exhaust dumping before the tires out the side tucked up very well.
I purchased for $50 I think edelbrock part number #8032 vortec universal bracket for throttle cable, tv kickdown, and cruise. Non vortec model is #8031. I tried the Mr. Gasket type from Oreilly's and it was too flexible and bent during mock up at WOT.
I also purchased a ws6 hood scoop fiberglass for $170 since the air cleaner will not fit so far. Like I said I have either O'reillys or ebay as my parts stores sadly.

The tci external harness is easier to install if you do not try to mount it onto the side of the transmission, but instead on the inside of the drivers fender there is a set of relays,...look on the fender there is a single bolt that you can mount the ground to and bolt the harness to the fender wall easily. What I did was extend the wires with the same gauge wire ran one to the inside the green one which I will hook up to a momentary flush mount button $8 each on ebay also look for vandal switch in the search bar. Mine, I will be trying to make a panel in the ashtray to hide the buttons as I do not smoke. The black wire was ran to the harness and the red power I ran to the battery directly tucked along the underside of the fenders and firewall to the positive side of the battery.
This car will be a tribute car now painted all black with red candy true flames engulfing the front and feathering to a tip to the rear and the top coat of the red candy will have red luminous paint pearl added so at night the flames will flicker and glow. 40 mins. I have yet to buy the luminous though. Like I said a lot is happening but I have plans now.

Re: "CHUMP CHANGE BUILD" 350 $1500 BUDGET

I need to get a steering column as this one was torn up when I got it lights only work if the highbeams are on and no side markers or blinkers but that is another thread. was giving updates now back to the subject the motor....

I Have no idea where it will be rated though??? I tried the dyno2000 program and put in the info 10.5:1 compression with flat tops I think, xe258hr cam, int .480 ext .480 lift , vortec 906 heads, vortec edelbrock performer rpm intake, edelbrock 750 carb with electric choke,.... It gave me a hp rating of over 400 hp at the flywheel, and no I did not delete the ac I see no point in having a daily driver that is cool but it doesn't keep u cool unless the windows are down.... Not cool. I will get the hp back when I put the exhaust on.
