im having a starting issue with my car. it starts fine when its cold but when its hot it turns over really hard. after its sits awhile it starts up fine again. any idea what could be causing this?
Turn the headlight on when is acting up, if they dim a lot then the starter might drawing a lot of amps. D you have headers? High heat can cause problems like that. Check your cables or corrosion & tight connections.

does it crank slow or normal when its hot? if its slow, i would assume something is drawing alot of juice. if it normal might be a problem in the fuel system. could try testing injectors, when was fuel filter changed?Originally Posted by deadman
