85 trans am running rough then dies

I have an 85 Trans am fuel injected 305 that when I start it it runs really rough then dies. I changed the alternator and battery and that didn't do anything the diodes in the alternator were bad and every time the car runs rough check engine light blinking and heavy angel of fuel from exhaust. Not the mass air flow sensor I unplugged to see if that would change anything and it didn't. Anybody have any ideas?

Fuel pressure leakdown time?

Any loping idle / vacuum leaks in Closed Loop?

Any DTC codes?

Yes its going to about 1200 all the way down to about 400 then back up and I can't get it to any body to run the check engine light cause it will die before I get there.
