Engine bogs initially starting in gears

Transmission: 5 speed manual t5
Axle/Gears: 3.73
Engine bogs initially starting in gears
alright so were going to start this off with car specs
86 305 swapped to 350
t5
msd hei ignition
accel wires and plugs
mild cam
brand new 1 5/8 primaries (tell you why later)
edelbrock rpm intake
edelbrock 650 cfm carb (no air filter) (shouldn't matter for problem)
alright now to the story car runs perfectly fine and on my way to work someone dropped a pipe out of their car and i couldn't get out the way of it so bam i hit it... ticking noise starts (probably saw that one coming(exhaust)) and so my first thing is well seeing as how its bent shut and cant breathe thats why its cutting out when i initially put my foot on the gas so we fixed the downpipe where it was bent and now its just a slight ticking well we then decided (because the job i got on my exhaust was such crap) that we would take the whole thing down and sell it also changing out the old headers for new ones because the driver side was bent in three places that fixed the whole exhaust problem now whenever i still initially step on the gas i mean exactly when it'll shut off re ignite shut off re ignite and shut off and re ignite and then stay at 2000 and goes up like normall but it only does this sometime in neutral in gear it does it everytime as soon as i touch the gas it just does the same thing and the only thing i can think of left is FUEL changing my fuel filter from the old piece of crap may be it but that wouldn't explain why it did this all the sudden after hitting something so maybe a clutch problem but that comes out easy and fine just like it normally did so anybody who may know please help me get my girl back on the road i was going to race her at super chevy coming up but might not if i dont get her going this week any questions let me know
