I am at a point in my life where I can not justify spending my hard earned money on a junky ol money pit that's only ever gotten me in trouble
but every time I see a thirdgen on the road I feel a deep need to drive one.

I need you guys to tell me whether to sell/part my car or buy this

tough to say, whats wrong with your engine? hows the body is it rusty or beat to death? if you don't love your car but love a third gen maybe hunt for a more appropriate fit? buying an engine that has been assembled but sat for a long period of time can be a gamble.. I see you have 2.73 gears maybe spend that money on a rear end upgrade it will do WONDERS for your fun factor..
