hey guys i was wondering if i swapped carbs from my stock comp controlled carb to a edelbrock would i have to change the stock distributor out ?


i also have another issue .. my car idles fine in park but when i sick it in drive or reverse it stalls out . i did some research and read it might be the converter clutch solenoid just wanted to get yalls opinion thank!

 

yes you need to chance the distributor

Yes if it stalls out instantly the converter is probably staying locked.
