new here to the board and third gens. anyways i have an 87 iroc w a 305 tpi., bought it last winter and sat in the garage, pulled it this spring but ran rough. finally got around to registering and insuring so the wife could start driving it. well it starts pretty decent and then it floods itself out, a local dealership employee said it sounded like the cold start injector and being we do not use in the winter i could unplug it. i did that last sunday and the car started good rpms turned right up no hesitation or anything, i left it idling and went to go into the gargae and it died, started back up ran for a few then died again, it deff is loading up with fuel, any ideas ???

Welsome to tgo , You might want to pull the vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator and check for evidence of fuel. This flooding can be cause bye you injectors leaking You may catch wich cylinders bye doing several primes and pulling the plugs looking for wet plugs or you may catch some faulty injectors bye homing the coils.. If you decide to eliminate the csi send me a pm I offer reprograming and can upgrade you to 89 programing to help with cold engine starts.
