machine shop recommendations?

I've got a 4 bolt main 350 Chevy I need some machine work done to, bored, align honed, decked, stroker clearenced etc. Anyone know of any reputable machine shops near the south Austin, tx area?

Not to sound like an ***, but use Google. That should give you a good place to look. That, and try asking the question in the subforums relative to your location. Chances are someone knows of a decent individual out on your side of the fence.

Lol ok I should have expected that answer. Iv checked google and really have gotten nowhere...the Austin speed shop run by Jesse James is all I keep getting. And I'm new to the area so I'm not sure what else there is around really and the google search isn't turning up much for places that are close to me. Plus I'd like to have some input from someone that may have personally dealt with a place, not just some info off google..

I'm not from that area, but know what you mean, The web definitely has its advantages. But there are a lot of small time businesses that don't advertise here. have had similar issues. Good luck with your hunt.
