Fuel Sending Unit Question...

Hey guys. Am in the process of putting in a new fuel pump and sending unit. Have both in the tank and the tank back on the car, but I am puzzled now as to which lines are which on the car... I know what all the lines coming off the sending unit are, but I didn't mark the fuel lines on the car... so I don't know which are which. I know the main fuel line, but I don't know which is a fuel return from the intake and which goes to the charcoal canister. A diagram or good description would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bunch, would love to get this car running. Take care.

Deven.

Re: Fuel Sending Unit Question...

I believe that all of the lines should be a different diameter. The fuel feed line is the largest and then should be the fuel return line. If you are reusing the same fittings and connections then they should only bolt together a certain line.

Thanks for the reply. You are correct about the diameter thing. As it stands I have attached the main fuel line to the largest line, the fuel return to the slightly smaller line and the vapor recovery to the smallest of the three. Lets hope she works! Thanks again!
