so i already did a search and didnt find what i wanted to know so ill ask it, which intake should i choose between either the Weiand street warrior or the Edelbrock performer (non rpm). the reason i am asking is i can buy a new Edelbrock performer from my shop teacher for 70ish $ or i can buy a Weiand street warrior for 190 on summit. which would be better for a almost stock 305.

 

Performer is good for a stock vehicle; from idle to 5500, which is probably higher than what you'll spin that 305 anyway. I've had good luck with my performer, and it being from someone else saves you a lot of money.

I can't vouch for Weiand, but I doubt you could tell the difference, they seem to be very similar at the least.

If you really want Weiand, it seems Jegs has good prices.

buy it from your shop teacher with the fact he will help you swap it out.. it's a win win.. and you are not making the 305 into some HP monster.. might as well save some $ and have a nice little project..
