I was wondering if any one else is having engine mount problems, meaning one of them breaking at least once a year? 1992 Chevrolet Camaro RS 5.0 305 V8

Re: engine mount

Describe this "break".

99% of all cars with those mounts go to their grave with the OE ones intact and operating flawlessly.

Considering that the same mounts are used on everything up to and including 500-inch big blocks, I have a hard time with the idea that a 305 is "breaking" something on a regular basis that's basically inherently "unbreakable" by design.

Maybe a bit of history would help; the use of the car, how the driver treats the car (as we all know, some drivers are harder on the team equipment than others), the actual observed failure mode, the mounts being used, etc.
