Car: 1991 Camaro RS

Engine: 5.0 L03

Transmission: T-5

Axle/Gears: 3.43 Torsen 10 bolt

Power drop off

I know these are not high power engines, but what specifically causes the L03 to lose all power at the 5Kish range? its like it has its own set rpm stop, only I know there are no rev limiters in these engines. Is the cause of this the old shitty valve springs not keeping up and killing all power? Just a curious guy trying to figure things out.
