So the multifunction lever on my 82 Berlinetta has broke. The car has Cruise but No wiper delay. Something inside it snapped because twisting it no longer turns the shaft to activate the switch. Plus it has separated a little. So I have two questions...

Is the lever "rebuildable" that is can It be disassembled? I don't see how and I cant find a guide for the wiper portion of the arm. is there a guide if so someplace?

Since the car does not have delay, can I just use an arm that has delay? I have found new ones for about 20 bucks with delay, but none without. The only ones I can find without are like $150.
