Re: Hydraulic Clutch?
I believe all the T5's had a hydraulic clutch. It'll take you 2 seconds to check: Pop the hood and if you see the hydraulic fluid reservoir attached to the front of the brake booster, you've got a hydraulic clutch. No reservoir = mechanical clutch.

Re: Hydraulic Clutch?
And no; all T-5s didn't come with a hyd clutch.
I have a 83 L69, that came with a linkage. In about 86 or 87 one of my little brothers, who had a 84 LG4/auto Z28 at the time, found a wrecked 84 L69/5-spd car in the boneyard, which he IMMEDIATELY pounced on for the 3.73 gears. I ganked the hyd stuff off of it and swapped it into my 83, and threw that linkage crap IN THE TRASH right then and there. Haven't missed that crap for even ONE SECOND since that day. 2nd major "mod" to my car, the first being a Hurst shifter. Been there for the last 25ish yrs. Except of course that about 10 yrs ago or thereabouts, I FINALLY stuck a T-56 that I had got in the late 90s into it.
