Is this rebuild kit compatible?

This is my very first engine rebuild and i have a 1991 camaro z/28 with the l98 350 and want to just do a stock or minor upgraded rebuild and was wondering if this kit is compatible with my motor....again im new to this and jegs and summit don't give me the information i want. thanks. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fe...0/applications

It is but you usually don't replace the pistons unless the engine needs boring out .
If it doesn't you typically just get the cylinder bores honed and fit new rings to your existing pistons.

If after being checked by a machine shop it needs boring oversize then you will need ( at least ) 4.030" pistons ; not the stock size 4.000" ones in that kit
Same with the crankshaft, it may be fine with new std size bearing ; if it needs grinding to clean it up then you would need different bearings to what is in that kit

Would be best to measure everything 1st before buying parts rather than waste $$$ by assuming
