Baffled, Iroc in cold weather starts great, struggles to start in hot weather
I've decided to start another thread in the hopes that someone can help me.
My 89 l98 tpi iroc starts quicker without problems when weather is really cold. Once the weather gets hot the car car struggles to to start. In hot weather I have try to start it 3 times
before it starts. Iroc sputters and dies. Its as if it flooding, smells a lot like gas. Once it starts warming up the iroc runs great (hot weather). Keep in mind it only happens in warm to hot weather. Throttle response and idle are awesome. Someone please help.
Thanks in advance.
The following parts have been replaced
Fuel pump
Fuel pump relay and harness
Bosch type 3 injectors
Fuel pump regulator
Fuel filter
Maf sensor and harness
Maf relays and both harness
Knock sensor and harness
Temp coolant sensor and harness
Tps and harness
Iac and harness
Cap, rotor, spark plugs, and plug wires
Ecm
Oil pressure sender and harness
Fuel pressure is really great 41 or 42, can't remember.

My L98 does the opposite. Struggle cold, runs great when hot.
Something temperature related ... I too did the CTS, no change and the only sensor I didn't change was the IAT (intake air temp) under the plenum of course.
Didn't see that on your list.
