TPI fuel rail, Orings, rebuild or normal,
I just replaced my fuel regulator and injectors.
snugged down and with pump on (driven 12v) it hits 43psi immediately.
then it would drop to 30 then 20 within a few seconds and then sit at 20 for a few minutes then drop to nothing
so I replaced regulator, tightend down (is torques sequence critical?)
and playing with the rail little push here and tehre tighten bolts I can get the pressure to hold at 40psi but as I tighten it drops.
after playing around I now have fuel hit at 42psi then it drops slolwy to 38 then 30 then 25 after couple minutes then sits at 20psi for a several minutes before dropping.
with pump on it hits 42 no problem, I do hear gurgling in the passenger front corner where the fuel lines are when the pump is running.
I see no leaks at all. is this ok to run this way? I spoke to southbay and he said that is normal for tpi and if you dont see gas you are fine.
the BWD regulator kit also came with o rings. I assume this is for the fuel rail lines that cross over driver/passenger side? Anyone replace these? I am thinking I am bleeding off somewhere
