How can I tell if I Have a crossfire or 4Bbl
I recently bought a Camaro, I was just wondering from someone who knows motors well if this is a Crossfire or a 4barrel...So yeah could anyone tell me which?

you have 4 barrel
Some of the earlier 3rd gens in Canada did not have the ComputerCommandControl ECM controlled carb and distributor:had all mechanical carb and dizzy.

originally it would have been an LG4-The L69 was offered in limited numbers starting in march or april of '83,the L69 differed externally from the LG4 in that it came with a dual inlet air cleaner housing and had an electric fan.If your car still has the original engine,it is an LG4 with 150 HP stock rating.

Cross fire is dual single barrel TBIs and a special air cleaner assembly
you can start by removing the air cleaner lid. because all you are going to see is a single 4 barrel carburetor.
The engine model is on the VIN ...

Try the Camaro "tech section" on the main page.
The 1983 L69 HO engine were only available with the Manual Trans... and since you do not have CFI you have the basic
LG4 Engine.
