Engine: 406 Super rammed SBC, LT1 355
Transmission: 4l60E, 700R4
Axle/Gears: disc brake 3.27 9 bolt posi,10 bolt
TPS question!
Once my car gets up to operating temp when i change gears the idle drops and it wants to stall. could the tps be failing? the car is idlibng at 800 rpm's flat.any ideas would be greatly appreciated! thanks

There are a number of things that could cause your symptoms. Since it's heat related, I think of things like injectors or ignition module, pick up coil, or ignition coil more than the TPS. The TPS is easy to test with a DVOM. You need a small piece of stiff wire like a paper clip to back probe the signal wire at the TPS connector. Make sure it reads about .5v(+/- .05v) with the throttle closed.

Like ASE said, test that TPS.
Should be about .54V closed, sweep the throttle plate slowly open and make sure the voltage follows consistently. Should read 4.xxV wide open.
Might remove and clean that IACV motor with brake cleaner also.
