383 TPI build
383 TPI build
This is new ground for me, so...here goes....
I have 1987 iroc 350 tpi car. Out of curiousity.....are there any general camshaft parameters that I have to adhere to to work well with the stock computer? Id like to make 440-460 hp at the flywheel if possible. And I believe the factory heads use an odd bolt angle on the center two intake manifold bolts. Are there heads out there specific to this type of build? Or do people usually use the gen 1 small block chevy aftermarket for their head choices.....Lastly, what is a good intake manifold and fuel pump recommendation for this type of power? Thankyou for all your help!
btw....are there any TPI manifolds that will bolt up to a vortec head intake pattern? And how does the holley stealth ram rate for power, and does it fit under a stock iroc hood?

But by the time you buy the big tube runners ( for any TPI base )
http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...3865/overview/
to make a TPI worthwhile on a 383, is cheaper to buy a HSR that has more potential
More than any long runner (TPI ) based setup, even with all aftermarket intake parts
