General ?'s and needing advice

Hello all. First off I would like to thank everyone for the great quality of the forums here. Anyways here's what I'm working with.
84 Firebird bought out of a junkyard. (Eh, its what I wanted lol)
Was told the engine is a 350 bored 30 over. As of right now I'm thinking its a 305 more than likely.
Auto Trans (Not sure what model.)

I work at O'Reillys Auto parts so have access to quite a bit of stuff.
I have already noticed that the air pump has been removed and the lines running from the motor have just been pryed close. Will be fixing that 2marrow as I got info off a thread on how to do so.

It still has the quadrajet carb installed.
Wondering if there is anyway to easily tell a difference between a 305 and 350 as I havnt noticed and casting on the motor yet.

Will take more pics in the morning.

Thanks in advance.

Block casting # is the only definitive way
The last 3 digits of the casting # may be cast on either the side of the block below the 2 center exh ports

Depending on age of the engine the casting # shown could be on either side at the rear

Sadly, there is no way to read off any of the casting as its to close to the firewall and the amount of stuff that is blocking the view there. I was able to pull sone part numbers though.
161305701-starter
7172-Alternator

When I get to work I'm just gonna try and cross the number and see what they fit onto.
