Good motor

Looking for a good 383stroker for the street. I am planning on adding a blower a little later. I am gonna keep all my factory stuff...a/c and stuff. I want the motor to be a good street motor but able to hand.e the blower as well. Also, carbuerator or fuel injection? Please give me some advice.

Thanks

Re: Good motor

Anyone have any good suggestions? Should I just go crate or what?

Re: Good motor

It depends on the block you want to use. If you have a decent block you can have it checked by a machine shop. They can tell you if it would be a good candiadte for what you want to do with it.

A crate motor or reman block would typically be a good starting point as well. It depends on your budget and timeframe.

Re: Good motor

If I go 383stroker, should I go carb or fuel injection? I guess it would be easier to tune fuel injection, but is the price difference really worth it? How much tuning can you do to a blown 383stroker?
