Old thread makes me feel so much more wise :)
Alright so it feels like it's been years but maybe a year or so back I had a 89 s10 with a TPI Camaro motor in it and I came on here and made a thread about "How can I improve my 1/4 mile" blah blah blah, and all that.
Im also gonna link that thread to this one so that everyone can get a good chuckle out of it but gosh I was so STUPID and thought I knew what I was talking about.
Anyways I still don't know Everything (Yet haha) but im quite a bit more informed/knowledgeable from owning/working on a few things, from sports bikes to multiple lt-1 Camaros.
Anyways I was googling about weight reduction for my 98 ls1 trans am, and I came across that old thread of mine somehow and WOW was I a stupid cocky little bastard..... So id just like to apologize to the entire f-body forum for that thread ever happening
and I figured someone might get a laugh out of how dumb I sound in that thread

I think that's the problem with many young and inexperienced people. They think they know a lot because they saw some info on TV shows or read in magazines but once you start getting real world experience, the majority of what you know changes. I've been a mechanic since 1980 and I'm still learning new things. I'll never claim to know it all but will always pass on what I know to others if they ask. If I don't know, I'll say "I don't know" or at least give advise on possible suggestions to a situation.
