ok i got some sealed power E-251k piston rings yesterday. and i noticed on the 2 inner flaps of the box tells me where the piston rings go. well problem is i think they some how got mixed up. i got shiney outer rings mixed with duller piston rings. so could some one verify where the shiney outer piston rings go in the first groove or second groove? same with the dull outer piston rings.

 

and also what is every one else clocking there piston rings at for best results.

 

I just installed mine last weekend, The dull ring is secondary compression ring while the shiny/chrome is the top compression ring. On my three piece oil rings I did 11:00 and 4:00 secondary 8:00 and top at 2:00.......

Oh..... If there's dots near the end of the rings, Face them up at the top of the piston......
