Vacuum hose location?

So my selector on the control panel for ac/heat only blows out of the defroster. I know this is a vacuum leak somewhere so I searched for loose hoses and I eventually found a hose that was cut off and barely visible in a wire harness. It's in the same harness that goes through the firewall. So more than likely this is my problem. The question is if I were to connect a hose to it where would it go to? I can't find any places to plug it into. Does it possibly plug into something with the air pump? If so, mine has been removed. So any suggestions?
