I have an 1989 Firebird with a carberated 305. Recently bought this car which ran great other than a slightly high idle. Today I drove it and it was running fine. I decided to throw on some sway bars links since the old ones were snapped... Just for ***** I took off the air intake for the first time to get a look and put it on without really touching anything. Now the car idles low, stalls, and has absolutely no power. It still runs and drives, but its extremely slow now and when I put my foot down, it does nothing and just continues at its sluggish pace. Its got an extremely ghetto intake that's not stock and a vacuum line that's capped off, but none of these things were an issue before. What could have gone wrong?
