what the **** no start again after 1 week
1991 Camaro 5.7 litre swapped
I cant believe this effin car so a few weeks ago it was not starting, the spark was very week at the spark plugs but good at the coil so I replaced the electronic spark control module and cap rotor was good for what I think might have been 2nd time in last 3 years. I set the base timing with the tan wire unplugged and it starts up everytime I turn the key, set the timing with the tan wire plugged in start it every few days its fine. I get around to the interior had it stripped down to install some sound deadening just to keep heat out of the cabin and less road noise started it then too, left one of my doors open over night the little light was on in the rear view mirror but battery was still charged and it wont effin start. I think my gas gauge is not reading properly so I pour some more gas in still cranking good but not starting or even stumbling. Its like every time I leave it sitting for more then a week the damn thing doesn't wanna start and there's a new problem I just cant believe it this time around never been so fed up with a car. my temp guage when it was running was jumping to max and back down then not giving a reading.
the fuel pump was new about last year I put that in aswell does anyone know a good scanner for these cars its a 1991 speed density Camaro 5.7 litre Ive had this car for years and never got to even insure it once last week it was running good and I had high hopes to have it out this summer now im just livid.

sounds like a wiring problem. Have you checked fuel psi? Is fuel pump getting voltage and has a good ground?
Auto x-ray seems to be (in my opinion) the scanner to get. Good costumer service when you call them. I think there the only company that makes one in USA if that matters. There cheaper code readers are made in china. But all they do is read and clear codes. Not live data like there american made tech scan 6000 or 7000. I think there around $600 online. Gotta watch for some scanners that require you to pay yearly subscription as auto xray does not.
