My 85 tpi Camaro cranks, sputters, then dies I've searched almost all over the internet and found practically nothing on what the problem is I changed all the intake manifold gaskets, the spark plug wires, the fuel filter, and the o2 sensor in hopes that it will solve my problem on what little information I received from varies sources. Prior to this I changed the fuel pump(worked for a couple months then this happened), and all parts in the distributer. i'm guessing that it could be the maf sensor, the timing, the strainer on the fuel pump probably fell off, the tps sensor, or the fuel. I'm thinking of taking it to a professional mechanic shop in hopes that they could fix or diagnose it, but I don't want to spend some hard cash if its something major that I can easily fix. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated, Thanks
Have you checked fuel pressure or engine codes?
Make sure the egr valve isn't vacuum at idle.
Make sure the egr valve isn't vacuum at idle.
I checked my fuel pressure and it was pretty normal, i'm gonna check for codes today, it had the same stuttering problem before I changed all the gaskets i'm guessing the egr could be faulty I'm just not 100% sure
I tried doing the paperclip trick but the check engine light won't turn on so now I'm guessing ECM , back to square 1
