gas since 97. what to put in now?

gas since 97. what to put in now?
So car was last serviced in 97. So I assume the gas is that old also however it runs just fine somehow. What kind of gas should I get to ”clean up" the carb and engine all together?

well nothing is going to be better then dropping the fuel tank and cleaning it out and pulling the carb and cleaning out the fuel bowls and stuff but the auto parts stores have many types of fuel system cleaners.

Thanks I decided to drop the tank and since its an external block mounted pump I sprayed cleaner on it and Through-out the carb. Sounds so much smoother no more struggling thanks!
