stalling at low speeds

Transmission: 700r4
stalling at low speeds
86 t/a 305 sfpi is stalling at low engine speeds especially when gas is below half. Belt is not running compressor so I intend to raise the idle and run fuel cleaner. Has 117k on the od. New ignition system with new module. What could be causing this? No ses light and idles about 450
