Will Drive shaft work?

alright my girlfriend drive a 97 bird 3.8 5speed. we was coming home from town and as i was coming to a stock i could here this clunking sound.. i back on ramps an see it has the 2 piece drive shaft.. carrier was puking. and its was sitting on the exhaust.. i haven't heard good things about the but ive read it keeps down the vibration from the v6. how bad is the vibration anyone know? my other question is will a v8 automatic drive shaft work with a a 4th gen v6 manual car? i have one out of a 89 rs sitting in the garage.

Transmission position stays the same no matter if it has a V6 or V8 engine in the car. The only way to know if it will fit is to measure the length of both driveshafts. Center of u-joint to center of u-joint.
