No Oil

Car: 74 Nova prostreet 87 Iroc Z28
Engine: 427 671 blower 350 Built
Transmission: 700R4 both
Axle/Gears: Dana 60 an a 323 posi.
No Oil

Hi Guys I have 350 went to prime the motor today an all cyl. are oiling but 1 I have about 60 psi could someone tell me why? all new everything. Thanks

I'm no engine rebuilding expert but I think 60-psi at drill motor speeds is pretty decent.

If I'm not mistaken, if you're priming the engine without one of those tools that takes the place of the distributor body then there is a huge oil leak to the top end that might be contributing to the "low" oil pressure.

Seriously, I don't see a problem. Not sure what you're expecting instead?

Da Heights eh... used to live up that way in the early 60s. In Morgan Park & the orphanage in Glenwood, had family around Crete. Da Heights ain't what it used to be, is it.

I DONT HAVE THE ROCKER ARMS ON BUT I DONT THINK THAT THE PROBLEM WHEN THE OTHERS ARE PUMPING.

a gen 1 small block,right? well then, oil comes up through the push rods to oil the rocker arms. finish your engine. THEN prime

If I understand your post correctly , you have 60 PSI oil pressure when spinning the oil pump with a drill , and all but one of your sets of rockers are squirting oil , is this correct ?
