I am converting from v belts to serpentine and also going to single wire alternator. What wire do I keep from the car and hook to the back stud of the alt? M y car has the three wire now. Its a 82 z. One bigger red wire went to the stud on the back of alt. And one bigger red and a smaller tan or similar color went into the two prong plug that went to the alt. Not to good at wiring so any help will be greatly appreciated. Almost ready to put the motor back in. Been a long time coming.
