350 TPI not starting now :(
Alright so basically the car ran great yesterday but today I was looking at y heads so I pulled the driver side valve cover off.
Well long story short I think when I was putting the valve cover back on that I shorted the ecm out or something because the valve cover hit the nut that holds the "alternators power wire" and it sparked... I accidentally touched/grounded it out 3 times.
Sooo when I went to start the car basically it just turns over and when I turn the key on the fuel pump isn't coming on and my ACC fuse was popped... but I replaced it and still same thing.
I also charged my battery already so that's not the cause.

Re: 350 TPI not starting now :(
QUICK NOTE:
What does the acc fuse power and if it recently (today) got popped then why didn't just replacing it work?
I also found the fuel pump fuse which wasn't popped and when I push the fuse back in you can hear a relay click once near the brake booster so idk if that means the relay is bay"
Also all my fuses in the fuse panel have power except the CRK spot???
Injectors all get power on both banks.
I also checked it for spark and it has a fat blue spark so that's good.

on 87 set-ups the crank fuse gives power to the cold start injector that provides starting fuel if the engine is cold
the acc fuse is for interior accessories like door lock, defogger, power seat, etc
i would figure out if the cold start injector circuit is working. have you also verified you are getting fuel pressure to the rail by measuring it? you have spark, you can make air with the throttle, so if you get fuel it should at least fire

well here's the thing... I don't hear the fuel pump make the normal humming sound when key is turned to the on position and I have a fuel pressure gauge but whats the point if the pump isn't getting power lol?
Oh and my car doesn't have a cold start injector... Theres a plate there that's connected to the runners from factory.
Im pretty sure it's a 90-92 350 as it has the 7730 ecm
