HSR 388 108 BLM and Lean
Well guys what i have going on is a 388ci stealth ram stroker with 10.5.1 compression CC503 cam on a 110 lsa using SVO 24 pound injectors that have been tested by Rich at cruzin performance and passed with flying colors. The car is indeed running rich my BLM value in TTS data master reads 108 at idle however when i pulled the plugs my drivers side was PIG rich and my passenger side was WAY lean. Not 100% that my tach signal could be the root of the evil i myself think it's not but i have seen where some people have ran into a similar problem with a bad tach signal. Now another thing i have realized upon my manny hours of testing is i see that as i cycle the key to the on position and my relay clicks on my fuel pressure jumps up to 43 PSI and then immediately drops to like 10 PSI i have put a new walbo 255 fuel pump in this car recently. From what i read the HSR regulator is designed to drop pressure like that but it is in every way different than everything i was ever taught and in my opinion if you were to tell a mechanic that he would probably laugh you out of the building.Being leery of this i have done manny checks for fuel leaks with nothing fund.My question to you guys is where do i take it from here the next step from what i can gather would be to possibly get bigger fuel injectors and or send a datalog to PCM of NC and see what they think. Any Help is appreciated immensely.
