Vortec 350 Help needed urgently. lots of questions

Hi all. As luck would have it my girlfriend is visiting form overseas and last week found I had 15 lobes wiped on cam. Ive pulled a 350 99 Vortec motor from the yard and so far all looks good bar for a few tablespoons of sludge everywhere. Its all cleaned up now and ready to re assemble.

Cam bearings =======================

The cam bearings look lightly scored but no deep gauges, so im considering having those replaced or doing it myself with the tool.. whats the deal here? I guess without a pic its hard to say much -

200-4r Governor weight =======================
Where is this located, under the pan or on the side? I want to grind the weights down for a later shift - I have good info for this, just not sure where to find it.

Heads with metal paste =========================

I have high lift vortecs from prev engine - whats odd is i found silver paste in the heads.. very odd. I ground the guides down myself with a drill using the comp tool, and installed a matching single spring kit from summit.

Would wiped lobes deposit silver paste in the heads?? The cam was 435/465 on 1.5 rockers.. Im hoping to blot these onto the new motor.

Vbelt swap & AC ==========================

I ad a 350 sbc vbelt setup before, should I put all my acc's on the new vortec block? Im wondering if i can get the AC stuff to work in my car, if not now later.. So all id need to do was rewire the alternator? My prev one had a thick red and thin red going to the plug, I take it one was the prime and the thick the battery one? How would I wire this to the 4 pin plug on the new Alt?

If i do go the serpentine route, what about the gizmos and plugs on the timing cover etc, do i just ignore those? Can I just bolt my PS to the new block?

Also I found 2 what seems oil tubes coming from the driver side of the block fwd to the radiator - are these engine oil lines and do i need them? My 77 camaro only had the trans lines going into the radiator..

Fuel Pump ========================
My block doesnt have the hole so im getting an elec pump with 5psi max for my Qjet so thats not a problem.

I might have more quetions but I think that will def help me -

Cam bearings - need the tool. Compare rental cost and your time vs the cost for a shop to do it. If you are taking the block in for other work, doing it "while it's there" would save time, and possibly $.

Metal paste - That entirely could be the metal from the cam and lifter being spread with the oil.

Vbelt - Depending on your setup, using the truck serpentine accessories could have interference: Hood? TPI (although you said you have a carb), etc.
Wiring - should or extend the wires that are currently connected to the alt and ac.
Crank sensor - unless you are going to swap wiring and computer, you can ignore the crank sensor in the cover.
"Oil tubes" are actually coolant tubes... at least from the factory: The heat exchanger between the block and oil filter has both oil and water passing through it. It can warm the oil on a cold day, and/or cool the oil on a hot day.

ok thanks. I think ill put the vbelt stuff back for now - i have little to no time to muck about..

Whats a gr8 roller cam? I ant to upgrade form stock. everything else is stock - i can get a zz3 cam but the intake is 208 and exhaust 224 or something, thats a massive difference - not sure i like that much..

Camaro/Firebird/Corvette LT1 roller cam would be my choice, production 1996 Corvette LT4 cam if you can find it.
