How do I test fuel injectors if the problem is intermittent?

Hello all,

I've posted before about a chugging/hesitation issue I have sometimes on my 1985 Camaro IROC-Z (383 stroker, HSR setup) and partial throttle. The problem is really bad when the engine is cold, then gets better (but never fully goes away) when the car gets hot.

I've always suspected that the problem was fuel-related, and after talking to a car-guy friend of mine today we came to the conclusion that one thing that might cause it is a bad fuel injector (the fuel pressure is fine).

My question is, how do I go about testing the injectors if the problem is intermittent? The car idles fine, so having it run and pulling the wires for each injector wouldn't work. And as I said, once the car is warmed up the problem just about goes away.

Separate of replacing the injectors one at a time, is there a way to check them to see if one is bad/going bad/plugged?
