Any idea's as to why the A/C only wants to kick on when you give it accelleration seemingly?
We topped of the A/C freon couple months ago. And when it kicks on it blows cold. But for some reason during idle and weak accelleration the compressor seems to not want to kick on. But give it some throttle gas, and it usually starts to blow cold again.

Sounds like it's probably compressor/clutch related - Like they may be going bad, but that engine throttle is giving it enough momentum to kick into functioning mode, temporarily at least.
