Miss you guys, I'll be driving a v6 camaro tomorrow
I haven't been behind the wheel of my 91 350 tpi since 2002, or any camaro for that matter. I used to look down on the RS but it looks like times have changed....over 300hp?, I know it doesn't have the torque, but I'm still excited. How's the engine feel? Off the line? Anyway, glad to see this community is still running strong, I'll be restoring a 91z some day in the future, one can dream.

I drove one for just a couple minutes last year. I used to own a 3rd gen with the 3.1 V6. Compared to that, the modern V6 Camaro will just about rip your head off. I think you'll be surprised by how hard it pulls even compared to your 350 TPI. Not that brutal off-the-line torque, but once it gets rolling, the HP advantage becomes apparent and the gearing in the trans is well spaced to take advantage of it. If the car only weighed the same as a 3rd gen (it doesn't- it's a lot heavier) the modern V6 would probably run right past an old 350 TPI.

I've driven a few 2010+ v6 Camaros and they're fun to drive. The convertibles handle so much better than the coupes because they have a lot more chassis brackets which increase structural rigidity. I own a 12 Impala (same LFX engine) and I like it a lot. I do wish the torque were a little lower in the rpm range, but knowing how to drive it I still have a lot of fun.
