90 Camaro flooding while driving

I have a 1990 camaro Rs with a 350 out of a 94 silverado. The motor is a tbi. The car will start and sit at idle fine but has just recently started dying while driving down the road at 30+ mph. I was stuck on the side of the road kept starting until all the fuel was burned up and it ran at idle again. Was lucky to make it home. What should I check and how will I know it is working correctly without driving on the road?? It will run and then start dying and backfiring like a gunshot constantly until I get it back down to an idle. I tried revving and keeping the accelerator at certain rpm while stopped and it acts like nothing is wrong until I start driving again. Please help.

I had a tbi truck that acted like that, I found out that one of the injectors was not working, at idle it never acted up.
