Stumbling/bucking in lower rpm acceleration

I have a 87 5speed GTA. Out of nowhere car starts to stumble/bucking at the start of 2nd gear. 1st gear is fine a soon as i go into 2nd it stumbles/bucking hard till i get to a higher rpm and once i start to come back down in rpm to a idle and stop it wants to stall and sometimes does. Any idea what is wrong?

I would lean towards some sort of ignition issue - cracked/defective dist. cap, bad wires, or spark plugs. If not that, I'd check your fuel pressure.
