mini starter hookup

mini starter hookup

I just purchased a mini starter for my sbc. I have a ford remote selinoid hookup up to the stock style starter right now. how do I hook up the mini starter to the selonoid? theres two large posts and a different terminal then the stock one. any ideas?

Nothing goes to the large post with the black wire on it..

In stock type wiring
Battery + cable will go to top big post.
Start switch wire to the spade term on the side.. (will have to cut ring term end off and crimp on a female spade term)

If using a ford noid, then you make up a large gauge (8 ga.) wire with a ring end on one side and female spade on the other and connect the upper big post and spade term together.

Battery cable from top big post to "B" big post on ford noid, battery cable from "A" big post on ford noid to battery +, then your starter switch wire to the small "S" post on ford noid.

so basically im just making a jumper for that spade terminal to connect to the big post on the starter, rather then using the plate style with factory starter?
