i have a 89 Iroc 350 tpi and ive been having problems with the car not staying on. my fuel pump was going out so i changed it about 2 weeks ago and the car was fine but 4 days later the car would not wanna stay on. The car starts up fine but after a minute or two it just dies out and will only stay on with my foot on the pedal. i ended changing the fuel regulator and the car was fine again and then a day later the same thing, car wouldnt stay on. i checked the TPS with a voltmeter and it read good and the IAC seemed to be fine. so i maybe thought i had a defective fuel pump or something so i bought an acdelco one and installed it. The car started up just fine but about 2 minutes later it died out. Car starts right up everytime but i have to keep my foot on the pedal. any ideas anyone??????????

Did you check you fuel pressure regulator for leak start ur car the look and fuel pressure vac hose and see if u see fuel come out of it or smell it

 

Check the temp sensor under the throttle body, i forgot to hook it up and it was hard to start, I would have to give it gas to keep it going.
