Edelbrock Hi-flow TPI intake

About to make a large purchase and want to make sure all this will be compatible with my stock 350 Iroc-Z motor. Also what else should I buy? On the front of my stock intake base plate there is a sensor that is locktited in, what sensor is this? Does it matter that the Holley throttle body is for EFI? Advice or recommendations?

Link for each part.

One brass fitting on the front of your intake is the Coolant Temp Switch. The other one that has a injector type connector is the Cold Start Switch for the 9th injector (If you have a setup with the cold start injector 88 and below)

Are you getting new injectors?
new AFPR?

The injectors are less than 6 months old so probably not. Should I get an AFPR? What is the advantage?

One would be for future upgrades to dial the pressure in, and you're already there, so why not put it in.

Also, look into the intake/runner bolt kits and get rid of the torx type if you still have those.

Can you link me to an AFPR? I can't seem to find one that includes the diaphragm.

Re: Edelbrock Hi-flow TPI intake

You don't use locktite on the sensors, use pipe sealant.
Don't need the T-body if you have a stockish motor.
And holy ^&*( when did those parts cost more than kids do?

Back in 1989 when I purchased a Hi-Flow base to replace the warped OE base, I don't think I paid more than $300 for it.

The SLP runners that I ordered with the base were around $400 so maybe the price the OP posted for the manifold and runner kit isn't too outrageous.

The regulator is the same for the 5.0 and 5.7. Personally, I'll never buy another one with the adjuster nut and bolt on top again. I got one from southbay, and the adjuster hit the plenum so it had to be ground down. Trying to adjust the pressure was a bitch and a half with everything put together too.
