How in the heck does an aftermarket radiator stay secured?
I bought a summit racing radiator and don't see how it would stay secured in the radiator tray. Are there brackets I need to buy or something or does it just sit there?

Unless it is a direct fit you would need to make a new upper radiator mount/shroud/cover. If you have access to a metal brake you can easily make one. The radiator never sees any force that would cause it to move (other than airflow) so it doesn't need to be bolted down four different directions, just a bracket or two over the top that keeps it from moving up/down and side to side.

I used 2 pc. of metal plumbers strap. I installed mine in 2005, and it's been bolted in and used like that with the plumbers strap ever since.
Here's 3 pics of mine. Excuse the dirty core support and lack of plastic try in a couple, I was working on car at those times

Mine's over sized. Summit house brand, 31" wide x 19" tall x 3 1/8" thick, two 1" cores. I needed all the cooling I could get with my engine setup.
On the engine side of rad. I have a ford 2 speed elec. fan mounted on the rad with plumber's strap.
Then my transmission coolers are out front (on nose side) of rad.
