Wanting to stall?

So on the way to work im at a red light...it turns green...let off brake and go to gas...as soon as i do that, that engine wanted to stall. It went to about 200rpm until i gave it gas again. Kept doing it at every light. I had to keep hitting the gas quickly to keep it running. Turned around and brought it home, raised the hood and the cooling fan for the radiator was not running. Now can these issues be related or do i have an overheating issue and a stalling issue? Thanks in advance.

Re: Wanting to stall?

Any codes? Maybe vacuum leak or ISC motor (idle speed control). Unplug ISC motor and see if revs increase if they do, then plug back in and revs should drop down again. If this happens the ISC is operating normally, therefore check for vacuum leak.

Ive been getting code 23 for a while now. It never caused any issue though so i never worried about it...although i have no idea what causes that code...i cant find a definite answer. Anyways, the overheating issue should be fixed now...the fan control switch broke so for now i just wired it up with a switch so it comes on. As for the stalling, i test drove it around my parking lot for a little bit and it didnt seem to do it again. Im still gonna keep an eye on it, but im keeping my fingers crossed

Plunger can be getting stuck then it frees itself for while then it will stick again, when it acts up do the test I said. Just turn vehicle off when connecting and disconnecting.
