Trans Shifting weird 2nd to 3rd

So .. took my car out today and noticed when the 700r4 shifts second to third it has some vibration. Medium throttle at about 35mph it vibrates a little going into gear but smooth in the rest..

The trans does have a shift kit in it but the rest of the shifts don't have vibration. I am preparing to do an engine swap/upgrade so I am hoping my tranny doesn't decide to s*** on me right now. only has 127k on it.

It does not have a cooler.. that was coming with the engine upgrade. Checked dipstick, fresh looking fluid with no metal?

It may be caused to shudder in the application of the direct clutch. If the oil is clean and there are no signs of friction material floating around, it may no be too late to save the clutch stack. Testing line pressure through a series of shifts might be revealing.

Does the temperature of the trans affect the shift quality?

Out of curiosity, had the TV cable adjustment been checked?

I don't have a guage but when it is warmer it does tend to shift harder in all gear . However whenever I'm light on the pedal, it feels like a normal slushbox. Can't even tell there is a gear change even when warm. Also on wot it has less vibration in the shift

I believe I set it when I purchased the car. Thanks for your input!
