Very quick AC delete question
If I delete AC, can I just remove the compressor and some of the lines like THIS? And avoid having to get a new heater-only hvac? I need heat in the winter, but never use my AC, it doesnt work, and I don't even know why. Anyway, don't want to have to try to put in a new hvac box and etc, so why can't I just take part of the system out and leave what's pictured? This guy clearly did it.....

Re: Very quick AC delete question
You can hack off whatever A/C components you like and the heat will still work. A 92 will be the serpentine drive, so removing compressor would require a bypass pulley. If you do this, at least get a non-A/C heater box even if you don't get the proper head unit. It makes the engine room so much nicer to work in. And an accumulator without a hose attached to looks so cheesy.

Yeah, I knew about the delete pulley, but didn't want to have to pull the box yet. First, I don't know how (though I can quickly learn), and second, it was a temporary fix to get that crap out quickly if I decide to do it. But ultimately, you're right, I may take it all the way down eventually. I literally never use AC at all in that car, if it's warm the windows are down and the top is out. Thx!
