cooler line
so was installing my radiator and i cross threaded the bottom transmission cooler line into the radiator.unscrewed and tried to connect line after i saw my mistake and now the line wont even try to start to go into female part of radiator. what are my options? i really dont want to get a new radiator because of this
Re: cooler line
Figure out the size and type of thread of the connectors, maybe someone in the forum can help you with that, then get a tap & die set that includes this size and you will be able to re-thread the connector
Same thing happened to me with the A/C condenser and that's how i fixed it

Re: cooler line
The problem with a tap is it won't go into the stripped fitting far enough to do any good.
The stripped fitting has a cone shape in the ID which mates to the flared tube end when the two are fit together and tightened.

Re: cooler line
I just need to get the first thread good because all the other threads look good just the first row thread looks messed up the reason the fitting wont even start
